Joshua Stayton is a managing member of Kerf Capital and he co-manages the firm’s day-to-day operations, with a focus on project design and fund implementation. Over the past decade, Josh has acquired extensive experience in the analysis, structure, and execution of alternative investments. Since 2015, Josh has successfully developed and operated a real estate investment firm, specializing in the purchase, renovation, and sale of residential properties in the Dallas area. Through those operations, he achieved substantial project returns for his firm and its equity partners. Josh is a CFA Charterholder and a Realtor licensed in the state of Texas
John Wilson is a managing member of Kerf Capital and he co-manages the firm’s day-to-day operations, accounting, investor relations and project oversight. Prior to Kerf Capital, John held senior level financial positions in both the energy and energy infrastructure sectors. John’s experience in corporate finance along with his knowledge of alternative investments were instrumental in the development of Kerf Capital. Mr. Wilson received his Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor’s degrees from Louisiana State University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant
Daniel Ippolito provides legal and business advisory services to Kerf Capital. Daniel is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate, and Trusts and Business Law Sections). His practice is largely focused on real estate and securities transactions. Daniel has served as general counsel or as compliance officer for several alternative investment firms, a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, and a real estate private equity firm with over $350 million of invested capital. Daniel also spent several years as an examiner for FINRA where he was awarded with an Outstanding Achievement Award. Daniel received his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M) and his MBA and undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Jacob Stayton oversees daily project operations, manages project accounting activities, and analyzes project opportunities. He has prior experience in both accounting and construction and previously worked in accounting and finance for a security technology firm. Jacob received his undergraduate degree in Business Finance from Texas State University in 2017.
